Upset with myself

Recommended Posts

I have not been following the diet plan. I thought I was doing everything right but when I went back and looked I wasn't. I have been moving too quickly and am now paying for it. I have pain in my stomach. I will do better now. We do harm when we think we know what to do.

I'm having my surgery on the 1st and I went through and made a calendar of August (pre-op) through October with notes about which days I can start which supplements and foods. I carefully went through the entire post-op plan provided by my nutritionist and marked down everything on the calendars. So, hopefully I'll be able to do everything right if I just follow the calendar. I'm going to tape the pages up on the cabinets in my kitchen, so I will always be reminded every day.

With the best of intentions we will make errors. It is human.

Try not to be too mad at yourself and keep going forward. The previous poster had a good idea. It does help to write things down sometimes...It may help you move into it becoming habit after a bit!

You can do it! Everyone makes mistakes... The best thing you can do is admit it and figure out what to do to fix it, which you've done. :-) Don't best yourself up about it. Make sure if you have pain that continues, you see your dr.

Congrats on your success so far :-)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
