Exparel - any experiences?

My clinic today told me that my doc uses Exparel in surgery to keep stomach/incision areas numb for up to 3 days. Anyone else have a doctor that uses this, or have had any experience with it? I had never even heard of it! They said it was "gold in a bottle!" If it truly keeps you pain free for 3 days, sign me up!

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Sounds good to me!

My incisions didn't hurt though. I had some shoulder gas pain, very sore ab muscles and a general state of misery but my incisions were fine.

I dont know that my dr used anything..... But maybe she did!! My stomach was numb on my right side where they removed my band and stomach. Numb for over a week. I did not have any pain in my incisions, I didnt have any pain at all! I too woke up with a lil gas pain in my shoulder/back as soon as i took the gasx it went away!
