Burst Blood vessels when pb'd

I pb'd for the first time yesterday on rice and ended up with lots of tiny red dots around my eyes which I assume are burst blood vessels. Has this happened to anyone else?

Yep. I even burst a blood vessel in my eye once, when I had a coughing fit so severe it made me vomit. Yuck.

Yes! About every 3rd PB, I seem to burst a ton of blood vessels all over my face. I look sunburned. Powder covers it up and it's gone in a day but it can freak you out when it first happens!

Hangover. Not pretty.

A nurse friend of mine said it's called petechia, and she calls it "petiki eye" when it happens around the eyes. It's from straining when you vomit, and it's not dangerous. It will go away in a couple of days. It can be a bit painful, and you can use a cool damp washcloth to soothe it.

Uh, one more here! Happens to me quite a bit too. I always assumed it's because I'm so fair skinned. Doesn't hurt though, just looks a little weird.

just (I mean moments ago) had my first PB. Took my Ambien (can you say "nite nite?) but remembered I had to get my son's lunch ready for tomorrow. In my Ambien stupor, I popped a piece of chicken Milanese in my mouth. BOOM. Chest pain, golf ball, intenese desire to burp.....but not just any burp! I will NOT be doing that again. The slime was flowing. Icky. Let's hope this Palov's Dog learns her lesson.

Bummer....I've had no such occurances yet...still on clear & full. Just got the okay for mushies. Bizarre random act of instinct, I guess.

Jill , I did the same thing with a meatball, I woke up from a nap and went to put the dinner up popped a meatball in my mouth and forgot about the band and wham! I thought I would die! My husband still freaks out when I eat meatballs, lol.
