Having my nails dine,,

I wonder if I can have my nails done .. Acrylic and all.. I know i can have my hair done

      Do you mean pre surgery? As long as they can see your nail beds, then you should be ok. They use the color of the nail beds to help indicate blood flow has been restricted.

    I have acrylic nails and my nurse told me I can have them just no nail polish, not even clear! So I will be removing my nail polish tomorrow because my surgery is on Monday!

They can still check your O2 saturation (Pulse Ox) with the sensor over acrylic nails, but each hospital does things slightly different. I actually received information about this during my pre-admission hospital visit. It was in the paperwork I received.
