Finally got my date 7-03-2014

I was finished with all my tests in April and a troll at the insurance company kept denying it because he wanted to talk to my surgeon. That was never going to happen so we turned him in to his superiors. He lied to my doctor's office over and over again. They kept the documenation and it got kicked up to management. They said everything was submitted correctly and there was no reason for a denial.

I have my letter and my surgery date.

The bad news is I am losing my job in July or August, dont know the date yet. If the procedure had been approved when it was submitted i would have had my surgery before this happened. I had sick leave and med leave but not anymore.

I am frustrated but looking at the positive. I cant change the job part and my surgery was finally approved. Now i am nervous. I hope i heal fast so I can start a new job soon. New jobs are always stressful. My husband had GBS but I didnt want everything moved around so I opted for the sleeve. I hope i made the right decision. My friend knows someone who struggled with her weight for years and gave up and had the sleeve and lost 80 pounds. She said it was the best decision she ever made.

I dont like planning meals or wondering what I will eat when my stomach starts hurting so this has been good so far. The shakes are filling and I like them. Carnation has some Protein but my NUT told me to add powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury just to make sure and it works quite well.
