Sore throat from tube?

Hey all - I have my VGS on Tuesday, June 10. My pain isn't too bad and neither is my gas - I've been walking a lot. My throat, however is dry and scratchy. I'm guessing it's from the tube down the throat. Anyone have advice on how to make the throat feel better and or info on how long I should expect the soreness?

I'm in KY too! :-) it shouldn't last more than week. A bit of warm water with lemon or lemon zest tea can sooth it but there's not much you can do. Wh did your surgery?

Had my surgery May 19. Terrible sore throat for about the first 4 or 5 days. Definately from the tube down the throat. Good luck! Hope you're feeling okay!

Thanks - glad it's just going to be a few days.
