cravings/junk food

I was in the grocery store today and saw my favorite chips. I am on the pre op diet and having surgery (Gastric Bypass) on the 16th. Obviously I did not buy them but my question to all of you that have had it is when do these things stop looking good? Do these cravings ever go away?

I don't know if the cravings will ever go away.

However, since my surgery, I do NOT crave sweets at all. The thought of ice cream, cake and Cookies just makes me sick. I was a candy fiend as well and the only thing I crave is my Mexican candies, lol.

Right now, I crave "junk meat" like wings and ribs. Otherwise, I've had no desire for chips or anything like that.

Pretty sure everyone is different, but if you're a sweet tooth like me, I think the bypass gets rid of that, lol.

I wanna know too ? ;)

I'm going to be honest. My craving for chips has never ended. Chips are my fav. Thing. Every once In a while at a party or something I will have a couple. They taste good to me. They taste the same. I don't have any taste changes post surgery. I wish I was one of those peeps that no longer likes bad food or their taste buds have changed.
