This app seems to be a great resource for those of us who have taken the step towards a healthier life via bariatric surgery. I'd love to learn from and meet others in the Jackson, MS area that are on this same path to help guide me through what is yet to come. I am also curious as to advice from other guys that have taken this step but any and all help is most welcome!!
I am 31 years old and have spent my whole life as a rather large guy. I'm the only overweight person in my family and after two years of preparing, dieting, exercising, studying, etc., I am two days post-op. I am very excited and want to learn and discuss advice on expectations, exercise and eating habits.
I had my surgery performed by Dr. Vick at the University Medical Center in Jackson, MS and have had an excellent experience thus far. However, I would like to know what to expect one week, three weeks, three months down the road.
I look forward to all of your input and am glad to be traveling this road with you all!!
