Feel weird....

So it has been 17 days since I got lap band surgery. I'm doing great. I got in a fight with my boyfriend tonight and my stress eating came out. I ate a little over a cup of mashed potatoes and I feel weird now. I know I ate them too fast. Sorta felt like I had to throw up but couldn't. What did I just do???

You ate too quickly and didn't allow the food to go through your band because of this. Also you felt stressed which can tighten the band. You may have experienced some sliming, which is a saliva build up in your mouth This can happen if you eat too quickly or don't chew enough. Relax and it should go away. Your stomach will be still be swollen so early on so look after yourself and take care. You should be fine ❤️

You are probably fine, just pay attention to your body and I'd you feel anything different contact your surgeon. Might be advisable to do liquids for the day and give your system a rest
