I was banded by Dr. Ren at NYU on April 7. Although I live on Long Island -- very close to North Shore Manhasset -- I had heard wonderful things about Dr. Ren (and Dr. Fielding), so the choice was easy.

    Hi! My name is Rachel and I'm new to this forum. I actually made up my mind to go for the lap band but still need to decide on a doctor. Has anyone used Dr. Pomp? I need to decide btw. him and Dr Ren or Dr Fielding. I see lots of people use Drs Ren and Fielding. I've gotten some great recommendations on Dr Pomp - anyone out there been banded by him? Can you share your experience please? thanks:thumbup:
