Weight..

I'm 163lbs and stand 5'5". I'm considering getting lap band surgery. I have wonderful insurance but I'm curious if I would be approved due to my weight? I struggle to stay in the 160's and it's ridiculous. I do have a few health issues ie. high blood pressure and very low good cholesterol but I'm working on those!

    Your BMI is under 30 so it's going to be a struggle getting approved. You can gain weight or get shorter to make that BMI higher. Many people fudge on their height??
