Less than a week to go... emotions are everywhere

Less than a week to go... My feelings range from so ready to do this to Good Lord what am I doing. Granted i have not had surgery since i was 4 and i def dont remember what that was like i am more nervous about the anesthesia than i am the actual surgical procedure. Yesterday i went to the store and loaded up on clear liquids for my pre-op diet that started today, so far so good. The protein shakes really seem to help ease the hunger. Also very impressed that my pain cream (for my incisions) and scar cream made it to my house in less than 48 hours. Kind of nervous about the bowel prep though, since i have to drive 3 hours the night before my surgery to Dallas... that may be an interesting/long ride. At any rate i am excited to open this new journey. Yesterday i was telling my mom, i am only 25 and i have no idea of what it feels like to be comfortable in my own skin. I can't wait for that feeling!!!!
