Appointment today

I have my last apt today. I will meet with the surgeon and get my surgery date. I'm starting to feel really nervous, but excited. Anyone else have these feelings when you get closer to surgery?

Congratulations!!! Yes, as the clock gets closer, the nerves and excitement increases!!! But that's normal. This is a big step and none of us should take it lightly! All will be good and we won't even remember these jitters after all is done and we begin the "healthier stage of our lives"!!! Keep in touch! :-)

First of all..Congrats on being so close!!! I just got my surgery scheduled at my appointment with my surgeon last Thursday...it's scheduled for June 3rd!! So I also am feeling really nervous that it's so close but I am super excited as well. :)

Good luck :)

I think I almost cried when I finally got my surgery date (it's Thursday). Even then, it still didn't seem real until I started the liquid diet and the rounds of required pre-tests. Now everything's cleared and I'm so ready :D
