My one recommend a decent natural jerky for a high protein snack?

All the flavors are good but I am particularly fond of the Sweet n Spicy.

Lately I've been eating more fish jerky than beef, turkey, or ostrich jerky . . . more protein for the calories!

They sell different kinds of fish jerky at my local food coop/natural foods store. Smoked salmon jerky is really good. I also like the trout jerky. Right now I am eating marlin jerky that I got from Amazon. The brand is Delicious -- comes in lots of flavors. I've tried the teriyaki and the onion pepper and like them both. It isn't for the faint of heart (or taste buds) - I think you have to really like strong tasting fish for this.

I love to make jerky in my dehydrator. I am going to have to give this some thought, coming through the filter of post-op, in what I use for my marinade. Hmm...
