Am I full? Should I eat?

All I've been thinking about while on my liquid diet is eating. Now that I have the clearance to eat certain things the idea isn't as appealing anymore. Today I ate an ounce of fish for bfast (forgot my bfast, so I ate some if my lunch cause I don't want to get in the habit of skipping). I has another ounce if fish for lunch and a mini babybel light cheese circle for a snack. I've been drinking water all day. I don't want to eat, I think I'm full but I ate so little today I don't know if I'm supposed to force myself to eat to meet my protein goal. I don't know if I'm full or just don't want to eat...

It's a tough call. I worried about that at first as well. I made protein a priority and premade all me meals the day before. (I still do that!) . I explained to my nutritionist when I was 1 month out, that it was too hard to eat every 3 hours and I am always full. I asked if I could eat only when I'm hungry as long as I stick to the suggested foods for my stages. She said "absolutely". Your body will tell you. She did however, stress the importance of breakfast. I think you are doing fine! Keep listening to your body and monitoring your protein and you will continue to be successful! :)

Thx Stephanie! That helps. I'm actually going to see my Nut today but this is such a huge change for me. I'm used to eating whether I'm hungry or not lol I even woke up this morning w/ that same full feeling.

Hi! I just had my surgery on 4/8/14 and I feel the same way. It takes me 2 hours to eat a 5.3oz yogurt. For now I just focus on trying to get my protein and water goals daily. I'm sure it will get better with time.
