Tattoos

Dis anyone have tattoos before surgery? How did they look after? I have a tattoo I want to get but I'm not sure if I should wait until after surgery and if so how far out should I wait? I want to get on my upper back/Lower neck area. My mom says I should wait until I hit goal or close to it. Any thoughts?

listen to your mom.

I agree with @@Recycled or at least make it one of your "goal" markers! When you reach that # you want to reach 25, 50, 75 what ever that number is for you then make that your goal reward and go get that TaT!

I have several including one on my back but more on my shoulder blade then upper neck area and it's looking just fine :)

I plan on getting one but closer to my ideal weight. I dont want weight loss to affect positioning or how it looks, etc.

The goal markers idea is awesome!!

That's great idea to use it as a reward to myself!! It might even help motivate me more to reach my goal faster!!!!

I have a tattoo in that spot. I'd be really surprised if it gets distorted. But I do agree with your mom. You may feel completely different about it a few pounds down. Best of luck. (Also, I have many tattoos, and the one in that area really hurt!)
