Feeling anxious about starting to eat food...

i am finishing my last week of liquids...it will have been 3 weeks...i am TERRIFIED to start even purees with no carbs b.c i am gonna gain weight back...is this crazy..i feel like it is...i have lost 18 lbs and am so glad but i am scared once i start my purees i will eat too much since i am not filled...oh dear im consumed with thinkin of this..i know they say it will come off...but is that after i get my fill or once my body adjusts to the new foods in the purees?

Try not to stress too much over this. I continued to lose even after I moved through the different stages.

I'm not sure what you mean by starting purees with no carbs.... can you clarify? What are your surgeon's instructions for the next stage of your diet?

This is precisely why I avoid the scale. Mine is broken and I'm thinking that I won't get a new one any time soon. If possible, stop weighing yourself and don't compare to others. My doctor puts patients right onto mushies, post-op, so I know I've not lost nearly as much as others here who were banded when I was. I won't get weighed again until my first fill on 5-9.

I am not filled either but I don't have a lot of hunger. Hopefully this will be he same for you.
