Pre op diet advice

I'm starting my pre op diet tomorrow and I need some tips on how to get through this. I have three little ones and not cooking is not an option for me...

Tomorrow is going to be especially hard because two of my girls are having surgery (tonsils & adenoids and ear tubes) so I don't know how I'm going to do without caffeine!

Please help!

I really want to do well and lose some weight before my surgery. Everything is moving so quickly now and I'm still a nervous wreck!! :)

What does your pre-op diet look like? To be honest, though, this is just the beginning. You need to take this time on the pre-op diet to see if this is really something you can stick with for a long time, because your food choices are going to change dramatically and you won't always have the options you want or need and sometimes we just have to suck it up and not rely on our old comfort devices.

What sort of restrictions are you to follow during your pre-op? I have (2) children as well. It is hard but you will have to be strong. What has been helpful for me during my pre-op is, my mother has made food a head of time and I just heat the food up and feed the kids. I also look at quick meals such as frozen dinners etc. to feed the kids. I have realized that with this surgery, my husband and I are practically purchasing foods for our kids and less for ourselves.
