there could be hundreds of reasons, you pulled a muscle, strained yourself, etc...or if it's on the right side (i believe) it may be gallbladder... how long has this been doing on? have you called your doctor? your primary may need to check you out if this has been going on for days and nothing is giving you relief...

ah yes, the infamous chair problem! I had to find a different chair here at work (they are all junk) but the one I was using bothered my sciatic nerve for some reason and made my legs numb...after several tries I found one that I was able to adjust to me ok... I would LOVE to get my own chair!!!

Good luck ... take a warm bath...that is always soothing to me! :)
