I'm 3 days post op of the sleeve. This is such strange territory for a life time self proclaimed "big girl" now being forced/watched to eat - if, when, how much etc. I honestly have zero appetite at all. But in being trying to do my best.

Anyway the main reason I'm sending this out - has anyone experienced cold symptoms after surgery?! I don't feel sick or anything but I am def losing my voice as the days go on! Clearing my throat hurts and this is the only other strange side effect I've had other than being nauseated with every movement and medicine choice while in patient care.

So I ask did anyone lose their voice after and if so how long did that last?! Should I be worried just yet?? HELP!

You would have been intubated whilst under the anaesthetic, which can leave your throat feeling sore. If it doesn't clear up after a few more days, then yes, it's a cold.
