Active life in sight.

MY name is Jeanee. I live right outside Anchorage, Alaska. Mom to a 28 year old, mommy to 8 year old b/g twins. Stay at home mom with some photography work on the side.

I got the lap band in Nov of 2007. Had one problem after another. In Dec. 2013, I had my "final straw" surgery and it failed after 3 weeks. So, that was 7 the surgery related to the band.

The port kept ripping loose. With that, every movement was like it was ripping up my insides so activity was a no no. Or else I paid the price that usually lasted 4-5 days.

I wanted it OUT,

Due to my diabetes, we decided to revise and go with aRNY.

I had my RNY on April 7th. I am now 5 days post op.

No issues to complain about. Eating my puréed foods. Anxious to weigh in on Monday .

Anyone in my area??
