Doctor's Appt. Set!

I officially found a local surgeon and specialist in Macon, GA! I have an appt. with Dr. Vaughn on the 17th of April and I look forward to the first steps of my weight loss journey!

I see my regular doctor this week, but I see Dr Vaughn next week. I'm beyond excited and hope something can be done. I'm only 28, standing 5'3", and weighing in at 300+lbs! My doctor and I have done everything, and I still can't lose weight!

I am in the same boat - diets just don't work any more. I saw my regular doctor about 2 months ago and he recommended it (so did an endocrinologist I consulted.) My BMI is @ 40 and I have HBP. I am NOT 28 (lol) but still have a lot of living to do and the weight is holding me back. So glad for you that you are doing it at your age and can enjoy the rest of your life without wastng a the time and energy dealing with your weight!
