I'm going in for my sleeve surgery tomorrow morning. I am actually feeling excited for it. Anxiety has not yet kicked in but I am sure that it will kick in tonight and I will get no sleep. Few questions for everyone. ..
What did you have to eat day before your surgery? I clarified with my dr. And he told me I could eat my regular pre-op diet which so far is Protein shakes for Breakfast and lunch and for dinner I eat 3oz protein 2 cups non starchy veggies and a half cup Potatoe. I feel that's weird. So I am going to eat my dinner for lunch so I have more time to digest it all... anyone else not have a clear liquid diet 2 Days before?
Also what did u bring into the hospital with you? I have some loose fitting clothes. Pj's. Slippers. My stuffed animal. A book. I'm even bringing some homework from grad school. Anyone else have any secrets that came in handy in the hospital?
