Yup! What gowalking said. Every doctor is different. Mine was 4 days liquids. Some are up to 30 days.

My doctor only required a week of liquids after surgery. I moved up gradually in my food stages until I got to real food at week 4 post op. But like everyone else said, it depends on your doctor's specific requirements.
