MO – St. Louis

I am interested in being considered as the Group Leader for the St. Louis MO area. I have known since my surgery in July 2013 that I wanted to be in a more interactive role concerning WLS patients. This surgery has changed my life and I want to be able to help change the lives of people like me. I believe that there is a need for face-to-face meetings in making sure the right information is given and issues discussed.

I would be available after 6pm on weekdays and anytime on weekends.

I would be interested in doing the metro East ( collinsville fairview heights area) currently I am part of a support group that meets the 2ND Wednesday in fairview heights IL and the 4th Tuesday in collinsville IL. I have known since my trip to the WLSFA conference in Nashville TN this year that there was a purpose for me being there. Which I am going to start a chapter in this area.

Bump wondering if this group is still active and does anyone here still meet up?

I don't think they meet in Collinsville anymore but someone had started a new group that met at STL public library. They always met on days I had work deadlines and had to work late, so I could never make it.

Really do you happen to know which days they usually meet up or who is running it @OutsideMatchInside?

Someone made a thread on here, I haven't seen it in a while, it was late fall early winter.
