I Think I'm Almost There......

Hello All,

I started this journey in December 2013. I have completed my 3 nut classes and my pysc evaluation. On Tuesday I go in for my reassessment with the doctor. I am a little bit nervous beause 3 weeks ago I was in te hospital because my sugar from my diabetes was at 400. So I guess Im wondering if this will stop me from getting the suegery. I am now on 2 different types of insulin and this sticking myself 3 times a day is staring to get on my nerves. Has anyone had problems with having sugar problems and your surgery did not happen? Help.....

That's most definitely a doctor question. Does your surgeon know you were in the hospital recently? Does your surgeon require your PCP or Endocrinologist give you clearance? And if so, will they give you clearance?
