Hi everyone, I'm doing a lot better. I was in the hospital almost a week and am trying to loss this excess fluid weight!

Pre-op at the hospital at 11 tomorrow, then meet the surgeon for the first time at 2. Surgery on Wednesday. Yay!!! It's finally almost here.

I start stage 2 tomorrow! Fudging a bit though.... Just mixed cottage cheese with some apple sauce and some water and blended in my nutri bullet. Going to eat that today and see how that goes down.

@lockhb I'm a day over two weeks out and have one incision that's not healing well. Saw the doctor Friday and he put a bandaid on it and told me to keep it covered until it's healed. He didn't seem concerned at all so I guess I won't be eiether.

My message posted twice so see below for comment sorry I can't find away to delete this one

On my last day of stage 1. For me that meant liquids only. So water (of course), Popsicles, jello, broth, and towards the end of that week I added protein drinks. Won't lie, I am starved!

This is what I am still on and mentally it drives me crazy. I do this for a week then I can add in protein shakes, soup, and other liquids for two more weeks I am not supposed to have soft or pureed food for three weeks after surgery and I am only 6 days post op today going insane this is almost as bad as the pre diet except no hunger pains

I had a hard time getting enough energy to even get my walks in. I am hopeful that now that I am stage 2 I can get a bit more nutrition in. I can't believe they have you on liquids so long.

Sitting here waiting to be called back to see the surgeon is just as bad as waiting for surgery day to come. Which is tomorrow!!!! I will update when I can.

Good luck. I'm out a week and sicker than a dog

I am beginning to question if I even had the surgery. No pain, no nausea, can once again sleep on my stomach...just weak from very little food and always hungry! Starting stage 2 today, so cream of wheat was good. Cooking potato and fresh peas and will purée together for lunch. Sweet potato for supper with a bite of tuna fish. See if that helps.
