Congrats. Its a life changing experience and one heck of a ride physically and emotionally. I had my surgery on 4/25 and to date I have lost 103 lbs. Before getting surgery realize you have to embrace your old eating habits because the band would stop that. In fact eating junk food is the easiest thing to do so know its a change but one I will never regret. 70 lbs to go and Ill get there some day. I never thought I would say that :) Good luck to you and if you have questions feel free to ask. Its a 100% lifestyle change. I work out most days, I count calories, I follow up with my nurse/surgeon, and I do my best to stay accountable. There are set backs in the journey. Be ready for bumps in the road.
