Restaurant eating:

Having lunch at one of our fav places today. I'm 9 mos out, and here's what I ate: 2 rice less rolls, 2 shrimp, and veggies-- not the healthiest, but not bad when it comes to eating out.

Just wanted to give others an idea of what it's like to eat out now. :)

Thank you for sharing! I actually think that sounds delicious and yes, healthy for eating out. I love reading others expiriences who are further out.

If possible, I try and always look at a menu on line before going to a restaurant. I have an idea of what I want, or what my husband and I can share.

FYI - assume that everything is brush with or cooked with butter and ask them to prepare 'whatever' you order, without, if possible.

Sounds like you made good choices to me! Thanks for sharing! I think that there is a misconception that you can never eat out again after wls. I am a month out and have gone out several times.
