I am currently looking into the band (again!) Before when I looked into it I didn't have kids, but now we've adopted 2 and are fostering 1. They are all 2 1/2 and under. How long will I need someone to help lift and carry them do you think? This is truly something I need to do. My hubby is a union plumber and they don't get paid time off, so he will only be able to take a couple days off. Thanks for any advice.

I also suggest you ask your surgeon what his or her rules are for lifting post-op. Many are different...
