Yesterday I went and saw my dr and said YES! I want the conversion from my non-working lapband. I go back on the 25th and see the psycactrist (pardon my spelling) have blood work talk with the nutritionist...and then they submit to my insurance. I sent the letter to my generall physcian today for her to write to my bariatric doctor. I am getting excited...I am getting scared. What if my insurance EMPIRE BC/BS doesn't approve me...what am I going to do? Just had to get this out of my head...

relax... the conversion is becoming more and more "popular" if that's the right word to use... all you can do is B R E A T H E and hope for the best... we are all pulling for you.

Wow are we in the same boat! I said yes to my doctor a couple if weeks ago and have already met with the nutritionist and psychologist. Now I am waiting approval from Anthem BC. My band is being cooperative at the moment, but I have had a plethora of issues and gained back 50 lbs! I am ready and excited! My date is set for 4/9/14 (pending approval).
