Glad to hear things are going well! Keep up the good work...

Heh buck, what's up? Good to hear everything went well. Any regrets? Did you find it tough to swallow and get your fluid in immediately after surgery?

No regrets. As soon as I woke up from surgery I was very thirsty and had no problem drinking Water, I actually drank alot. My face and nose was itching really bad when I woke up there for i would not keep the oxygen mask or tube on my nose. The nurse then gave me a nasty attitude so I pulled the O2 tube that goes to the mask and sat it next to my nose and said "there that will work"...she just walked out lol. Then all i wanted to was sleep. Then about the 4th dose of pain meds that night I threw up for whatever reason... yeah not fun. The only advise I can give is to be mentally prepared for what your getting ready to go through and to use that little pillow they give you to keep pressure on your stomach the first couple days..... it worked miracles/

Glad to hear everything is ok, your right about that little pillow, defiantly was a life saver.

Glad you are feeling better. Stick with the program and the weight loss will follow. Seems like everyone's surgery experience is different. I threw up after the barium meal but was OK otherwise with not too much pain. Sure could have done with the little pillow in hospital but had one ready at home.
