Just curious. I have really been struggling with irregularity. I haven't had those issues in over 18 years. But I may go 3 days and things get pretty backed up. Does anyone else have these issues? Solutions? Our doc recommends Milk of Magnesia, but it does nothing for me.

Same here. I take a stool softener once or twice a week.

Does anyone know if gas build up can cause the port area to hurt? Or even if haven't had a bowel movement in a few days?

I've had issues the past year with this. Ive found that it usually happens when I dont drink my water. Ive found that the small 12 oz bottles of Powerade mixed with a double dose of benefiber or a single dose of miralax along with alot of water will help things along.

That's does it make your port area hurt. Not really hurt, but maybe more like a cramp feeling sometimes?

I've never had port pain from being constipated or gassy... but maybe it depends on where your port is located?
