OMG liquid diet cheating

I cheated 3 days on my 7 day liquid diet. I feel really bad. I have my surgery 2/26. Have anyone else cheated and if they had surgery how did it go??

i am not proud of it but yes I cheated during the first week. The second week I got more serious and much more focused. It was really hard. I hated every #$%^&* minute of it. I survived though. I lost 13 pounds during the liquid diet. I had surgery and no complications. My message to you would be do your best be honest with yourself and your doctor. My doctor actually added an extra shake per day my second week because of my work schedule being long crazy hours. It really helped. Focus and you will get there.

On days 3 and 4 I was soooo hungry!! I ended up eating extra "appropriate" food and really didn't go that far over in calories, but I called the dietician to be sure... Who knew I would ever feel so panicky about eating extra helpings of boiled mashy Brussels sprouts?!? Write it down, be honest, and have an honest accounting of your calories... And call the nut/dietician or nurse and just ask them to ease your fears!
