So it looks like it will be in May that I will be having my sleeve surgery, as I have to see their endocrinologist and he is booked up until May. My appointment with him is May 8th, I have an appt with the surgeon on March 18th and could have had the surgery in March if the endo was so booked up. I am on the cancellation list for him. So I am hoping there will be a cancellation as I really wanted to get this surgery done before summer. My daughter is getting married this summer and would be nice to wear a nice dress that isn't a plus size.

Do you think there is still a chance I could wear a normal size dress before her wedding in Aug if I have my surgery in May?

I too am a may sleever as of now. today I had to cancel a nutritionist appointment because she is booked up until april for my FIRST appointment, meaning it would be june before I qualify for surgery and up until july before I would receive final approval! no way. I found instead a nutritionist who is giving me a first appointment this Friday instead so my 2nd appointment will be in march and my third in april...freeing me up for surgery in may.

I too am hoping to be smaller by august. while everyone is different, I am almost sure you'll be in better control and understanding of your new body, and hopefully will be looking great and feeling great in time for your daughters wedding!
