Does anyone use whey Protein pre/post surgery, and what is the difference?

I put unflavored whey protein in anything I can pre-op. Soups, puddings, yogurts. I also have products like New Direction hot cocoa that has whey. 27g protein.

I have New Direction broccoli cheddar Soup with whey, it has 27g as well.

I drink Premier Protein and they have whey.

The majority of people on here get their protein from whey. There are others that are soy and also vegetable Proteins.

Edit: lots of ppl get their protein from regular meals, but many use whey when they need to meet their protein requirements.
