New & Getting Anxious!

Hi! I am in the pre-op phase and my surgery is in a week! How did/do you cope with nerves? I'm doing good with sticking with the diet plan thus far, however, I'm still craving my favorites. Help!!

I am in my pre op day 6. I am struggling but sticking with it. I am trying to stay busy with projects around the house to keep my mind off of it. When I feel hungry,I drink some more water!

Its a head game. Stay focused on the bigger picture. You come this far. Keep your eye on the future YOU!!!..ask yourself how bad you want this? Don't forget, you have been given a once in a lifetime chance to do things differently..Dont let food make you miss this train again!!!!..good luck..btw, this body feels better than any food tastes!!!

Thank you so so much! I went to drink water and just told myself I've come this far.

Awesome!!!..for me it wasn't about 'willpower'...it was more about 'Determination & Discipline"..This surgery has taught me that!

At first was denied and felt hopeless. Imagine someone taking this gift away. It is scary I'm not gonna sugar coat that but for me growing more and more overweight was more scary. The food will still be there but a bite or 2 will fill u. It's only food. Look forward to something you want to do or be in your new life. I'm only just about 1 week out and feel like the same but improved me already.
