Hair Not Growing

I had my surgery in June of 2012. I got my hair cut last January and it really hasn't grown in this past year. I'm not losing it. But it's not growing at all. I tried the Biotin Vitamin for about 3 months and didn't notice any difference. I also tried pre-natals, but they are causing too much gas and constipation.

Does anyone have a solution?
