Could be why you still have GERD. I always fix them, not all surgeons do.

I had my lap band done Feb 2006. And they did not fix my hernia. Should they of? Could that be why I have alot of problems with GERD?

What would be the benifit of not fixing it? Could the lap banding make it worse? I have some trouble with my food not staying down some time but it is not like throwing up I just lean over a bit and out it pops. But then they may just be the band and have nothing to do with the hernia. Any insight would be great.

Thanks
