Fullness guilt

Used to eat and eat and eat until I was miserable. I would sit on my couch in my misery and feel guilty about what I had just done to myself. I would say I wouldn't do it any more then a couple days or weeks later I would do it Ll over again. This was how I got to 320 pounds by age 31.

Well 30 days ago I had my sleeve done. Gone are the days of eating five sushi rolls. BUT, I still have the guilt. I just had 3 ounces of thinly sliced roast beef with one laughing cow cheese wedge spread on it. I am full. Not miserably of course, but full.

I still have the guilt!!! I feel like I shouldn't have eaten so much even though I know I'm well within plan. Does anyone else have fullness guilt still? My conscience thinks I just ate a whole bag if Doritos!!!! Thoughts?

I feel the same way, some days I feel like omg I have been pigging out all day than I go back over my fitness pal numbers for the day 800 calories 50 carbs 88 protein and think to myself ok you did good today so stop stressing....I think so many years of that cycle of guilt and comfort with food it is going to take time...when I feel to guilty which is gettin less and less I talk my day over with my hubby and he reassures me I have nothing to be guilty over...part of the journey of healing not just our bodies but our minds

I think what helps me is that aslong as I stop myself before that painful feeling I don't get as much of the guilt cause not feeling sick is small victory within itself. I'm also only at a month past surgery. So I think those goals will get stricter.

Now that someone mentioned it, I've noticed alot more sneezing. Weird

I get the sneeze and hiccup and it HURTS because I'm still healing. Funny though, I only get it when I'm full of fluids- not ever with food.
