Failure!

I've lost two lbs since I left the hospital five weeks ago.

Five weeks out and only two lbs.

Please don't talk to me about stalls, people that lose 20 lds can have a "stall". But I am NOT losing any weight!

Am I really the only one who gets half of their stomach out and still can't lose weight?

It is possible to get the sleeve and not be given protein goals. Some Drs. in Europe just tell their patients to eat normally, any kind of food, in small amounts and chew well. Thats it! Even in the US

Dr. Dolan. I really like him. Very nonsense and straight forward but a nice guy.

My surgeon mentioned something about hormone tests with an endocrocrinologist to see if anything might be slowing my weight loss.

Do you have any idea what hormones they might mean?

I'm not sure but I'm going to ask about it when I talk to my Dr. Let me know what you find out too.

I'll try and find out too. I see my dietician on Monday.

Do you take any medicines that cause weight gain. I was taking a couple that made me bloated, etc. If you do take meds check them, some may cause you to gain weight, and then take to your Dr.

The only thing I can think of is the Depo Prevera contraceptive injection. I think I read somewhere that the average increase in weight in people who take that is 11lb. That's ok, I'd take 11lb over horrible, debilitating periods :-)
