Small victory at 6 weeks post op!

For the first time in our 12 year relationship (10 years of marriage), I weigh less than my husband! I still have a lot to lose and he could stand to lose a few, too, but I have always been at least 20 pounds heavier.

He actually seemed genuinely excited for me, too. I think he's looking forward to being able to pick me up and carry me around. Still got a long way to go before I get there, but a girl can dream. I told him to start hitting the weights now, though.

Yep, it's been 8 years where the hubs and I have been the same weight. It was embarrassing! He didn't realize how much weight I had gained since we met - I always kept my weight hidden from him. R

How fun! I'd LOVE to weigh less than my hubby...may be soon, but during my journey, he has lost over 20 pounds from healthier eating and cutting out soft drinks and a lot of carbs!!! Congrats!

So awesome! I had a good chuckle. :D

Congrats. I too have always been heavier, well since I lost control of my weight that is. So after 8 days post op, I'm only 7#'s heavier. He got on the scale after seeing my 18.6 lb loss:))

He didn't realize how much weight I had gained since we met - I always kept my weight hidden from him. Right before surgery I told him my actual weight - he was floored. I cried.

I can't wait till I weigh less than my son!!!!!
