I have a doctor appointment tomorrow in regards to the surgery but I'm only 20. I want to know has anybody had the surgery and had a baby a few years after. How did it affect you ?

Many people have. Many of my doctors suggested/encouraged this surgery for me after struggling with infertility for 1.5 years and all typical tests were normal. There's a pregnancy specific forum somewhere on this site too.

I'm only 3 weeks post op. I've lost about 20lbs since that picture was taken last summer. I want to lose another 50.

Oh one thing I struggle with, is my doc doesn't want us to get pregnant within a year of surgery. This will let things heal better and that's the best weight loss period (in her opinion). She did let it slip that many people (trying) become pregnant after 6 months.

Just make sure your surgeon knows your goal. I think she put my port in a different spot and your gyn of the surgery.
