Non believer here that married a baptist preacher's daughter. Honestly it's no conflict for us....although there are a few inlaws that do not understand.

Agreed. My wife is quite liberal in her religious views. Choosing to invest in the overall message, rather than the dogma of it all. She sees the stories in the bible as parables.....not as actual written history.
