if you are having problems finding good protien things to eat and the vitamins there is a great site for people in the usa i actually even spent the money in canada to get it up here and the vitamins are awesome tasting and easy and the foods and snacks and drinks are amazing it is call bariatricchoice.com lots of protein in all the products and taste great. I must be a lucky one cause i have never felt like even had the operation and only thing for me is i have to focus on when i am eating to make sure i eat very slow and cheww..i have been sick lots but for the most part i am sure it was my own fault.

Bariatricchoice.com is good. Our surgeons group recommends that and www.celebratevitamins.com. It would be nice to have a sampler box from these suppliers. A sampler box with individual servings of everything they offer would help us all to decide which we like, and which we don't BEFORE we order a 90-day supply!

I bought the multi vitamin and caltrate and iron and they are yummy. I bought the hot choc mint and amorato yummy and all the snacks lol and very good. In canada where i live we have ideal protein i am going to look into tomorrow see if it is near the same as what you all have down there. I am only working on my three months so still not able to eat too much real food but getting better. So the more protein i can find else where the better.

CelebrateVitamins.com DOES offer a sampler box for $3. Well worth it IMHO. I got a tons of samples that way.

ya the vitamines i bought are the celebrate ones they are great, plus so much easy to handle with our little pouches. I am so happy I dont have to worry about swollowing those huge pills anymore.

Yes. I really like the celebrate vitamins, too!

Which of the celebrate vitamins do you get? Do the chewable so taste good? Which flavor do you prefer? Vitamins are so hit and miss that it would be nice to know which ones taste the best. I have never heard of celebrate before. I just looked it up online but there are too many choices. ; )

I have chewables right now: grape flavor calcium--YUCK, and berry multi with iron--OK. I just ordered swallowable caps and tabs of each, with a separate iron tab. Hopefully they'll go down easy.

yA the calcium ones arent to great but to get the amount i need that would be three huge pills so i will put up with a little bad taste then puking. the multi ones and iron are good. i did buy gummy ones and my nurse said i better not they might be worse then the pills. so didnt try those.

Yes I've been taking those three "horse pills" chewable calciums each day for the last two months! So I just ordered their easy to swallow tablets. I'm hoping those tabs work better. Celebrate has an order builder option that gives options based on which surgery you had and how long ago it was. That's so they only sell you what your new system can handle. I like that.

I am sorry to hear about everyone's problems. I had surgery on 12/11 and am down 53 lbs. I have not been doing a exercise regime but I am going to have to start . I take bariatric advantage calcium chews and have caramel and peanut butter caramel and they are not bad at all. I was a little low on iron but that is included in my multi vitamin so I guess the doc was ok with it. Everything else looked great . I stall out like some others on here but try not to get discouraged because we are all different. I have a hard time getting 32 oz of water in and really could go all day without eating but make myself eat because I know I have to. Finding protein options suck does anyone have any good high protein things you eat that you could share? My doc wants me to only eat fish fruits and veggies . I'm thinking I can barely get in any protein/water where should the fruits come in?

Hello Everyone. I had surgery 12/31/13. I'm still having problems getting the proper protein and liquids. I'm now down 51 lbs but happening really slow now. I'm on fitness pal as bokay2014 and would love to keep in touch with anyone who wants to. My email is bokay@ hotmail. com. Also I'm in Texas. Whew. Any who. We are all on a journey to a new healthy us so have a great day, don't forget to smile.

Today was a milestone day! I actually ate "real" food. I ordered a Chicken gyro with a small chopped Greek salad. I ate about 1/4 of the chicken off the gyro, 3-4 bites of the salad and a few bites of pita with hummus. It was so good. My kids ate the rest:) I've been feeling so down lately about having to eat the same things over and over, have had trouble eating some days due to my head not my stomach. It just felt good to eat normal food again.
