I hated the pre op diet. I got so tired of the shakes but I powered throught it. I won't lie I did cheat a little especially the first week. How long is your pre op diet?

Hi, I have cheated to and catch myself cheating even more. All the surgeon said I have to lose 10% of my body weight. I started at 263.8, 263.6, 258.6. But now I feel I gained weight back.

I just can't get back on track, and those shakes omg are so gross LOL.

You could try these, possibly? I've been trekking out to costco for them, but someone said they got them at Sam's and lo and behold, I just discovered that my Sam's now carries them! YAY! They do have a bit of an artificial sweetener aftertaste to them, but they are the easiest ones for me to get down. If you need to cut the sweet, they can be watered down a bit with Water or almond milk. That DOES increase the volume, though...and these are pretty little...you could get through them fairly quickly. And then there is Monster Milk...50 grams of Protein per serving, which is HUGE. You can get that online or at The Vitamin Shoppe. It's a powder, though...I have to put it in green smoothies...I can't stomach powdered protein by itself.

interesting but there is no way for me to get to any of those stores, all I have near by is stop&shop and shaws.

and I haven't even started to take the Vitamins, my dr.said I should start taking them now. I guess so they can be in my system before the surgery.
