Went to surgeon today. nutruitionalist was very helpful and told me i was doing very well. then the portly surgeon came in. he was not as complimentary. all he kept saying was watch what you eat because you cwill stretch out your sleeve and gain all your weight back. not at all complmentary. i was glad to get out of there and go anout my life. most people i come accross that have gone with this surgeon never get to goal if they lose anything at all. if it wasn't for this web site and a few others that i read i would not have done as well as i have.

does anyone know how much the sleeve can stretch out over time? would like to know. i still have good restriction at one year out. any thoughts appreciated.We

Wow talk about bed side manners!!

I just did my blood tests today and go in next week for my year...

Last time I saw my surgeon we did talk about stretching he wasn't able to give sizes it can get too. But has seen stretched sleeves the are caused by several things continuous over eating can cause some stretching, not all the way but enough to sabotage yourself..

Also sleeves not being formed small enough (leaving some fundus behind)

while it's good that they now longer use ones much bigger than 40 anymore it's a balancing act really, you don't want to go small just for the sake of small, because to small can cause many problems too. From increased leaks to extreme gerd..

You have done really well Mokee, too bad your surgeon has such a bad manor.

I found that video very interesting... My surgeon said the sleeve he formed for me was wider at the pyloris end, and I imagined that was unusual... but this vid shows exactly that... what I have is normal! Thanks for posting. I have a 36, and honestly, its not much bigger than a 32.

I appreciate your lecture But I know that no matter how big or small your stomach is it will not be forever successful unless you change the head....that keeps us from moving forward and staying focused in our journey..it dam well gets in the way....What ever size they use I don't really care..I have to deal with the demons that brought me to this place and kick their asses before I can call this journey a total success....you understand that Laura....I know you do kid!
