Diet Coke

Starting second week of no diet coke, this is harder than quitting the booze. It should be better the second week, I do not want to go back to diet coke. Anybody else have a problem with DC?

My problem wasn't Diet Coke but Coke itself. I tried to wean myself off before surgery (had no pre-op diet) but I didn't do so good. I can say that I haven't had one since the day before surgery and that's the longest I've ever gone without one since being a small kid. Keep up the good work -- it's definitely not an easy thing to do!

I did it by filling a large mug with Water and ice, and sipping on it all day long. I haven't had a diet coke in nearly a year, and I was badly addicted. Still pre-op, and yes, sometimes I miss the carbonation, but I can take it or leave it now...and I generally leave it. I do have a Mountain Dew sometimes when I drive long distances... :)
