I take Amian CR 12.5 mg, just asked for something else. Doesn't help very much.

I've been on ambien 10mg for years. I'm 2mths post op and have never stopped taking it (my surgeon said it was ok). As a matter of fact, I'm not suppose to swallow pills whole but that one is so small, I have no problems with it. I tried crushing it at first but it is HORRIBLE!!

I take 12.5 and have taken it throughout my whole sleeve journey, and some times I cut them in half and take them it seems to work just as good but the amount hours I sleep is cutdown some. I think you will be ok but I'm not a doctor of course. I have been taking Ambien since 2008 ,and I have never had a problem with it.

I have taken my 10mg since hospital. Can't sleep without it, no issues taking it post op.
