Getting A Fill...finally!

Recommended Posts

Hey Ladies!

Well, it's finally my time. Xander has stopped breastfeeding and is 6 months old now. I got into a funk and stopped counting calories...then I did a really stupid thing and weighed myself last night (after sitting at work all day)...252!!!! OH HELLS NO (was at 197 when I found out I was pregnant). I called my band doctor today and was able to get an appointment for a fill in 2 weeks! I'm really excited because I'm sooooo ready to get back in control and having restriction. I'm scared because I remember how hard it was to change my eating habits in the beginning, but I'm hoping my previous experience will help me stay vigilant.

I got 4 cc's taken out when I was pregnant and I usually don't tolerate more than 1 cc at a time well... I'm hoping I can get at least 1 cc this time (maybe 2) so I don't have to go back as often (new insurance doesn't cover anything lap-band related). I'm going to try to get back on here and read, read, read to stay motivated and refresh my band rules! It's hard for me to read a lot here because it seems like everything I read I've ready before already and I can't reply to anything because someone else always answers things I can help with before I get to them (and sometimes better than I could answer anyway)!

Wish me luck mamas! I'm gonna need it!

:)

I'm right there with ya, except I didn't just pop out a kid. I'm trying to eat healthy as much as possible and since I know I can't succeed over the Holidays I'll wait till January 1st to buckle down and work off this last 25 lbs.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
